Micro-and Nano-Engineering (MNE) is an international conference on micro- and nano- fabrication and manufacturing using lithography and other nano-patterning related approaches.
The Conference brings together engineers and scientists from all over the world to discuss recent progress and future trends in the fabrication, manufacturing and application of micro- and nano- structures and devices.
Applications in Electronics, Electro-mechanics, Environment and Life Sciences are discussed such as: nanoelectronics, MEMS-NEMS, bioMEMS and lab-on-a-chip devices.

The Conference is traditionally organized in parallel sessions and features plenary talks, invited presentations, contributed oral and poster presentations and a commercial exhibition.
The Conference proceedings are published in “Microelectronic Engineering Journal” - Elsevier.
The Genoa MNE2010 Conference will be the 36th in a series that started in Cambridge in 1975, and was most recently held in Vienna (2005), Barcelona (2006), Copenhagen (2007), Athens (2008) and Ghent (2009).

MNE has related conferences, the International Conference on Electron-, Ion- and Photon- Beam Technology and Nanofabrication (EIPBN) in the USA and the International Conference on Microprocesses and Nanotechnology (MNC) in Japan.

It is a tradition that the author of the "Best Paper" of at least one of these related conferences is giving an invited talk at MNE.

Conference Structure

The Conference opens with a Welcome Reception on Sunday, 19 September in the evening. The technical program starts on Monday, 20 September and closes in the afternoon of Wednesday, 22 September. Tutorials and workshops will be organized on Thursday, 23 September (further information to follow at the MNE2010 web site).

The program will feature plenary and invited presentations by a number of internationally recognized authors, contributed oral and poster presentations and a commercial exhibition. Oral presentations and posters, as well as, Plenary and Invited Talks will be selected by the International Program Committee. Note that MNE attributes the same weight to both Poster and Oral Presentations.
