About Genoa

Genoa is an ideal venue for a Congress with a profile and scope such as MNE2010. The city’s wealth of historical, cultural and social attractions will undoubtedly be the perfect addition to your congress experience. Hotel and restaurant prices are very reasonable, and the weather at the end of September should be just perfect.
We hope to see you in Genoa!

Genoa also has a long tradition as a city of science and technology; being part of the so called ‘industrial triangle’, an area  of northern Italy between the cities of Milan, Turin and Genoa that contains the majority of Italy’s industrial production.

The city is home to a well-renowed university, research institutes, cultural events, museums and personalities.

Conference venue

The conference venue is at the very attractive setting of the Magazzini del Cotone – old cotton warehouses – on the docks of the old port area of Porto Antico. This is the heart of Genoa, with its medieval quarter, one of the liveliest areas in town.
