How to reach Genoa
By Plane:
By Train:Genoa is served by the international Cristoforo Colombo Airport. connecting to all major destinations in Italy and Europe (Rome, Paris, London, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Zurich). The closest intercontinental airports are Malpensa in Milan and Fiumicino in Rome. A shuttle service - VOLABUS (Volabus timetable) - connects Genoa airport to P.Principe railway station. From there you can take the underground to the city center (Piazza De Ferrari).
By Car:The main train station in Genoa is Genova Piazza Principe (click here for the train timetable).
From Genova Piazza Principe, you can reach the city centre by underground (Piazza De Ferrari).
Four motorways reach Genoa: two from the North (A7-A26), one from East (A12) and one from the West (A10). We suggest exiting the motorway at Genova Ovest. Follow the direction for the City Centre (CENTRO).
How to reach the Conference

From Genoa Airport:
From Genova Piazza Principe train station:The Volabus shuttle service links Genoa airport to Piazza Principe railway station (Volabus timetable). From Piazza Principe take the underground to S.Giorgio station, located in the vicinity of Magazzini del Cotone conference centre.
From the Motorway:Get the underground to San Giorgio station, located in the vicinity of Magazzini del Cotone conference center.
From the Port:Exit the motorway at Genova Ovest. After the toll station take the elevated road to your left (via A. Moro) and exit at the first turnoff. Immediately after the turnoff you’ll see a pedestrian entrance to the Porto Antico Area (the Genoa Marina). Here follow the sign for Parcheggi Porto Antico (car park).
From the port to the conference center it is only a few minutes’ walk.
