VISA INVITATION LETTERS
Upon request the Organizing Committee can provide invitation letters, which are intended to help potential delegates obtain a visa. Please note, however, this does not bind the MNE2010 to provide financial support.
Please check with your local embassy what documents are needed to obtain a visa for Italy.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
The European territory of Italy is part of the Schengen Area. The Schengen Area includes the territory of the following European Union countries and associated countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
A short stay is a stay in the Schengen area under 90 days or multiple stays totalling less than 90 days in a period of six months.
All foreigners intending to enter Italy must provide the documentation required to justify the reasons and duration of their stay as well as, in some prescribed cases, the availability of adequate economic means and lodging.
